Stahl's Infant Ear Deformity

Normal infant ear

The Stahl's infant ear deformity (Spock Ear) is characterized by a transverse crus extending outward from the antihelix rather than continuing upward in a gentle bend as the superior crus helix (see nromal ear in photo to right in comparison to ears in gallery below).  EarWell therapy has to elimiante the transverse crus to avoid the angulated and pointed Spock ear look.  At the same time the normal superior crus is restored.
